New Music Friday: 6 albums to stream this week

Jack Harlow shares a star-studded second album, Action Bronson releases a hallucinatory new record, and Ibeyi celebrate the power of sisterhood

Kentucky-born rapper and Gen Z heartthrob Jack Harlow has released his second studio album, Come Home The Kids Miss You, just weeks after his latest single “First Class”, built around a sample of Fergie’s “Glamorous”, topped charts worldwide. Featuring star-studded appearances by Lil Wayne, Pharrell, and Justin Timberlake, the 15-track album follows on from his debut studio album That's What They All Say, which featured his breakout hit “What’s Poppin”, not to mention his Lil Nas X collab “Industry Baby”. Continuing his speedy ascent into rap stardom, Come Home The Kids Miss You features much the same sharp, witty flow that made the rapper a chart success, with tracks including the previously leaked Drake collab “Churchill Downs” and “Dua Lipa” (a song about, well, being horny for Dua Lipa)

Elsewhere, Action Bronson releases a hallucinatory new record, Ibeyi share an enchanting third album, and Japanese quartet Otoboke Beaver’s release is a delirious trip that falls somewhere in between speed metal and butt rock. Enjoy!
